    Hyangilam Sunrise Festival
    When annually from the 31st of December to the 1st of January
    Where Impo Village, Yullim-ri, Dolsan-eup
    Details With its name meaning “a hermitage facing the sun”, Hyangilam is a place where you can gaze at the sun while it rises above the South Sea horizon. The coastal road heading toward the hermitage boasts of beautiful scenery, while the surroundings are made up camellias and the bizarrely shaped rocks of Geumosan.
    Yeongchwisan Azalea Festival

    Where Yeongchwisan, Jungheong-dong
    Details Opens at the beginning of April of each year on Yeosu peninsula’s Yeongchwisan Mountain when azaleas come into full bloom. Various events are held including a photography contest, ‘Miss Azalea’ competition and local dish festival.
